How much butter can one hibachi chef use?
This question ponders the mind and has for some quite some time. Before my last visit I have seen the bowl they bring heaping with butter and an absorbent amount of it used on each dinner selection. This last time though the bowl was emptied and there were still some at the table asking for more butter. The food was good, very rich and flavorful. I could have done with less butter as my rule of thumb is let the chef cook, they know how much butter to put in but for this time I let the table take control. The interesting thing is even when the bowl was gone the couple sitting to our left at the table still wanted more butter, how much would have satisfied their craving? I believe they would have taken down another half a bowl themselves, truly an amazing feat.
Pro Tip: Order 2-3 Fried Rice servings when at the table, so you have some when you go home , the fried rice does not go bad when reheating.
